Hi, my name is Andreja Jandric. I am a 23 year old dance student from Croatia, studying at Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD). I have been dancing since I could walk and now I have just started my fourth and final year at SEAD. Dance is my life and getting into an Academy was my dream, until it came to the point where the love was no longer enough. Money. My parents lost their jobs a few years ago and due to the economical crisis in Croatia, they have been unable to find another one. They are very supportive parents who help as much as they can. My annual tuition is 3.800 euros not including the cost of living. In addition, last years tuition has yet to be paid. I only received an email today saying that I have until October 31, 2011 to pay 2.303,00 Euros or else I will be asked to leave the Academy. I will not be able to do this alone by that date and seeing as it is my last year, I would really like to finish. Every chance I have I am working in order to fund my own academia, including every summer, only to earn 1.000 Euros. I have been searching for scholarships, but unfortunately dance scholarships are normally given to younger or male dancers. I am really desperate and I was wondering if there was any way you could help me out.
